He was President of the Ams society from 1975/1976 and a soloist in local United Church choirs. at CFCN in Calgary and in Kelowna, and CJVI in Victoria before entering Vic High as a teacher in 1963, retiring in 1985 at Oak Bay High School.
He returned to Canada a year later and entered radio where he worked as a D.J.
He was in the reserves while attending the University of Calgary where he graduated before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his passion for singing. Ralph was born in Vulcan, Alberta and spent his childhood there and in Calgary, Alberta. He joins his mother Margaret, his father James and his three brothers, Bob, Arnold and Ed.
